    Finally Bought Doom (2016)

    Ive wanted to get this game for a long time now and never did and Im so glad I picked it up now. Im only an hour and a half in and this is so much damn fun. Glad I got this in time to play through in it's entirety before Doom Eternal comes out.

    The log mentions line 615 for Project Brutality 3.0 being the cause of the crash. Does anyone have a fix? GZDoom version was the latest version available of the GZDoom website.

    What other games are most similar to Doom 2016? I don’t mean in the sense of subject matter (eg killing demons) but in terms of the quality of FPS graphics, small side tasks (similar to the keycards, Praetor tokens, rune trials).

    I am not a frequent gamer. I've only played the Halo and Portal games, and now Doom 2016.

    I really like it but I know it's top of the line. What other titles come closest, though? It's a long way to March 2020!

    Classic doom update: merge doom 1 and 2?

    Should id merge the recent console versions of doom 1 and 2 into 1 game ? Now with the addons announced you could easily switch to doom 2 via the addon menu. It doesnt make any sense these are two separate games now. I dont expect someone to only buy doom 1 or 2. For those who have, they could make the other game available through a paid addon.
