    So now that Doom Annihilation came and went with less impact than a 2016 grenade, let's discuss what could have been. What, in your minds, would make a good doom movie? Silent protagonist? First person perspective? Piratical or CG effects? Stupid amounts of violence?

    Personally, I would like to see a Hardcore Henry-esque film as the Doomslayer tears his way through yet another mars base to some intense metal. Maybe Deadpool level gore and generous use of practical effects. Humans in this film would be nothing but set dressing as the Doomslayer shoves his way through to kill more demons. I would hope that the narrative would be delivered mostly by people telling the Doomslayer what he has to do to kill more demons.

    Do I think a Doom movie like this would be well received? No. Do I think this movie has mass market appeal? No. Do I think this movie would be shitloads of fun to watch for doom fans? Absolutely. What are your opinions?
