    Hi guys,

    FYI this is for DIGITAL PREORDER ONLY!

    It seems that for me and a couple of my friends at least had gotten a message via email that our xbox preorders for Doom Eternal were auto-canceled due to the original release date being delayed. I guess they had to remove and re-add the game as a separate preorder to accommodate the new release date.

    FYI, check ur email and/or pre order to ensure yours didnt get auto canceled. If it did, just go back in and re pre order it. It's now available as preorder on xbox with updated release date. If ur preorder is still valid it wont let u preorder again, which means ur preorder still exists and ur good to go :) . And Microsoft wont charge you for preorders until a few days before release of the game, so no money should have been taken out from ur account yet.

    I Just dont want anyone to lose there preorder is all. It happened to me and 4 other friends of mine.

    I'm unreasonably irritated about the discussion of "Microtransactions in DOOM Eternal."

    So I've been hearing a lot of arguments being raised over how this game is going to be monetised. And to be honest, it bothers me that some in this day and age can only focus on 'microtransactions', shudder at the thought of 'cosmetics', and just assume the worst. Now I know that there are some people that aren't phased by the issue. But there are a few that just crop up red flags everywhere for the sake of pissing people off; myself included.

    So let me raise a few points.

    1. If the monetisation does not affect gameplay in any shape or form, it will not affect my enjoyment of the game.
    2. If it's not pay to win and only featured cosmetics, I'm going to buy them if they are set at a reasonable price.
    3. iD Software have always been about their fans first no matter what.
    4. I'm pretty sure by now Bethesda knows not to mess with iD Software. They know the blacklash they'll receive if they dare to enter the hornet's nest.

    Anyway, that's my rant over. Have a wonderful afternoon, evening, mornin', wherever you are.

    Doom Eternal and Dr. Betruger

    Dr. Betruger is probably my favorite Doom villian of all time. I would love it if he was actually expanded on in the Doom lore with Eternal. I know there are unconfirmed clues that he may be making a return. What do you think? Would you like to see his story expanded in Eternal and beyond? Do you think he will make a return somehow?

    Can’t stop thinking about the game after playing the demo

    Just wow the demo was some of the most intense experiences I have ever had in a video game can't stop thinking about it,Doom 2016 is just a warmup compared to it,it's also waaaaaaay harder than doom 2016 not many managed to finish the demo ,you stand up in one place for just a moment and you are pretty much fucked,it's hard but it's perfectly fair since doom guy will be more faster and stronger than ever,bottom line is that if the rest of the game is anywhere near as good as the demo it will be a genre defining masterpiece and one of the best games ever.
