For all I know it's more horror-based and the demons look... weird? I expect the game to be way different from the other parts. So what do you think? Possibility of releasing the E3 demo? Posted: 14 Oct 2019 02:30 PM PDT Since the game has been postponed, we may not see any more material with the added risk of spoiling too much of the game. To help keep the hype up for the game, do you think ID could/should release the E3 demo to the public as a marketing ploy? If the demo went well with the public (it would) hype for the game would grow even more. This way they wouldn't need to focus on any more trailers/teasers that only take up time and money that could be spent working on the game. Does this sound like a viable possibility? Switch ports of Doom 1,2&3 should’ve utilized the D pad for switching weapons Posted: 14 Oct 2019 09:31 AM PDT like the Xbox 360 versions of doom 1&2 did. I experience some seriously cheap deaths from just having to cycle through my guns or only being able to quickly switch to the next guns over. This is especially annoying when playing Doom 3 where the game is filled with super close quarters jump scares that require a shotgun, only to have to switch out to a plasma rifle or grenade for a pinky or a revenant on the fly. I barely switch out the same three guns that are close together in rotation just so I don't get caught up with the wrong gun by accident, or because it actually takes too much time to cycle through. On the 360 versions of 1&2, each direction on the d pad cycled between two guns. None of these doom games use the dpad basically at all. At least give me a gun wheel for doom 3, although I could see that being too big of a change I guess. Doom is my fav franchise, feels like having to cycle through guns makes at least 1&2 artificially more difficult in a dumb way. Doesn't mean I'm not going to play the whole series into the ground, just thought it was worth mentioning. [link] [comments] | ||

Will the game be available on that day or did it got delayed too, like Doom eternal? They said on twitter that the doom 64 is a preorder bonus for Doom eternal. Can you buy the game seperatly? Console command disable reloading all weapons Posted: 14 Oct 2019 11:47 AM PDT I'm hosting a lan server and I'm trying to figure out a console command. I have cheats enabled since you need that to disable reloading all weapons, but I'm trying to figure out the console command to perform this action. So when people join they instantly don't have to reload shotgun, rifles etc. Like vanilla doom. If anyone knows the answer that would be awesome. Thanks. [link] [comments] | ||
