    I really just wanted to post something to say thank you in general to this community - along with any other community that revolves around Doom.

    The harrasement and bullying sent out in every direction of online gaming due to gender/console/playstyle/race is a constant wave of bullshit and this is honestly one of the only places that seems to be free from it.

    Along with judgement. Someone needs help on a level, there is 20 people giving tips. Someone shows off their artwork and we have hundreds of people applauding them. You are struggling with the game, there is no "get gud" thrown at you, but pats on the back and support that you got this. Even with real life stuff, people coming in saying how much this whole franchise helped them in a dark time and the love they recieve is just immense.

    It's just ... A little safe haven for all. There is a place for every single type of gamer and person in this community and its just nice.

    For a game that is about ripping out eyeballs, surviving hell, kicking ass and blood everywhere - it has the most supportive and positive group of people surrounding it.

    So I just wanted to say thank you, to every single person who has made the online community of Doom; a place where everyone is welcome and treated with respect. ❤
