Doom 3 is a good game

Ok hear me out, it has the best story by a mile, the environment is one of the best I have ever seen (it's like they took an actual blueprint of a base on mars and made a 3d model of every working aspect of the base) the audio logs are badass and add a whole extra back story to the game (you have the option to play detective and find out what the hell went wrong) the characters are fucking badass, malcom and his bodyguard are a great fucking dynamic and the gunplay is good for a survival horror game and can get really hectic and crazy. Is it like the classic doom games? No, But does that make it a bad game because it's something new and thought out? Definitely no. I would love to see another doom like doom 3 with the updated graphics engine but I'm not going to hold my breath lol
