I got kicked but it was worth it
Got some pieces of gaming history, now just need to make something nice to display them in
It arrived at last! Now to wait for Eternal to come out so I can drink and slay with my friends.
My theory on some of Doom Eternal's plot
So I just got doom 2016....
A traditionalist learning Procreate. So I took an inktober piece I drew a few years back of a Doom imp and practiced coloring digitally over him this weekend. It's a start and I'm happy with what I've learned so far. @JasonCaseyArt

Never heard of doom until I really got into Titanfall 2 and bunny hopping. Just downloaded DOOM and I love it already.
I think the club is a little behind

My take on the Slayer's Altar. For my lego super shotgun.
It's interesting how there is a Vacuum Rune in Campaign, and a Magnet Rune in Multiplayer. It's understandable that they're different since one is for items dropped from enemies, and others are for item pickups on the map. Just wondered if the devs considered having both available in each mode.
Upgraded to an SSD, now DOOM 2016 won't run with Vulkan on Proton

I'm just gonna say this straight out, holy shit this game ducking rocks my god damn socks off. I was expecting doom to be good but not as good as what I got, the exploration, the combat, the badass heart pounding music, all mixed and pores down your throat. The game make you feel like a badass while also giving you a challenge. I never thought this game is too difficult or too easy, just the right amount where you keep playing after you lost. It's straight forward and doesn't waist your time, and it was so good I beat the whole game in one play through. Fuckin amazing game 10/10, I'm definitely buying the collectors edition of doom eternal. If you haven't played this game yet, what the hell is wrong with you?

Upgraded to an SSD, now DOOM 2016 won't run with Vulkan on Proton

I have been playing DOOM on my Ubuntu 18.04 system with Proton for awhile and everything was working fine. Recently I got a new SSD, moved all my files over to it, and installed my GPU drivers. Problem is, DOOM crashes on start with the message "FATAL ERROR: vkCreateInstance failed with error (VK_ERROR_EXTENSION_NOT_PRESENT)" when I start it with Vulkan. Open GL does work but my performance was a lot better with Vulkan. How can I fix this? (My PC is running an FX 8320e with an RX 480)
